2 additional Bath Iron Works employees test positive for coronavirus

Bath Iron Works reports that two more shipbuilders have tested positive after another worker tested positive last week.The two workers had been carpooling with the worker who tested positive last week, the shipyard said. They are receiving medical care and have been instructed to self-isolate.The Maine Center for Disease Control classifies three or more cases to be an outbreak.The company said it is encouraging everyone who worked in the CIC space on DDG 120 from June 15-19, took part in rallies in the Main Yard during that time or participated in a Local S6 picket line from June 22-24 obtain a COVID-19 test.Three workers who previously tested positive have recovered and returned to work.
