‘Lover’s triangle’ leads to Maine man hitting another man with car, police say

A Saco man was charged with attempted aggravated murder after police said he hit another man with his car Monday morning.Police said the incident happened at 7:30 a.m. at the intersection of Main and Storer streets in Saco.The man who was hit walked home and called 911 about 20 minutes later, according to investigators. The man was taken to Maine Medical Center for treatment of his injuries.Police said they located the vehicle and driver who hit the man about a half hour later in Biddeford.Isaiah Dennison, 20, of Saco, was arrested and is being held in lieu $100,000 bail, police said.Investigators said Dennison and the victim knew each other and were involved in a “lover’s triangle.”
