Maine National Weather Service offices launching balloons to help track Isaias

National Weather Service offices in Maine are doing their part to track Isaias. The NWS office in Caribou tweeted a video Saturday showing the launch of a weather balloon. The office says they’re launching weather balloons every 6 hours. Normally they launch two per day. All 30 eastern region offices from the NWS are doing the same to help collect forecasting data for the National Hurricane Center in Miami, Florida.
