Many Maine school districts celebrate end of unusual school year

Friday was the last day of an unusual school year for Maine children due to the coronavirus outbreak.A parade was held at St. Dominic Academy in Lewiston for students and teachers to celebrate safely.Teachers wore T-shirts that read “Quaranteam” and dropped candy into the cars students were traveling in.The Lewiston Fire Department even took part in the celebration.It was one of several parades across Maine on Friday.
