Ministry of Silly Walks: This family is bringing laughs to their neighborhood

A California family is trying to make things a little more interesting for their neighbors. They posted signs along the sidewalk in front of their home in San Luis Obispo that reads: “You have now entered the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Silly Walks. Commence silly walking immediately.” The family got some fantastic results.They got the idea from the famous Monty Python skit, “The Ministry of Silly Walks.” The family records the walks on their Ring camera and post the videos on their Instagram page.”It brings so much joy and silliness, I think, especially in this time,” said Maureen Salmon, who set up the silly walk zone. “It helps us to see other people and interact with other people, obviously at a safe distance. It’s fun to hear, when our windows are open, people giggling and laughing and people kind of planning out their moves and I really think it’s uplifting people’s spirits right now.” Check out some of their recordings in the video above.
