Portland police investigating shooting at apartment complex

Portland police are investigating a shooting that happened Friday at the Huntington North Apartments on Auburn Street.Police said witnesses reported a group of young men arguing in the parking lot before hearing a gunshot.Police only described the shooting as “non-fatal.”Officials said the shooter, who they believe to be a teenage male, took off in an unknown vehicle.The victim left on foot with a group of people before police arrived, officials said.The victim, a 22-year-old man, was eventually found at Maine Medical Center being treated for his injury.Police said there is no danger to the public.This is the second shooting this week in Portland.Police said a man was injured in a shooting Tuesday night on North Street.
