IT IS NOT CLEAR IF THE SECRETARY OF STATE’S OFFICE WILL APPEAL. IF IT DOES NOT, THIS WILL BE THE THIRD TIME IN FOUR YEARS THAT MAINERS WILL BE VOTING ON RANKED CHOICE VOTING.

A Maine judge ruled Monday that the secretary of state’s office improperly invalidated more than 900 signatures on the recall petition, according to a statement made by the Maine GOP.”We said we would not stop fighting until the Secretary of State’s incorrect decision was overturned. Now we are on to November and to Repeal RCV and restore the principle of one person, one vote,” said Jason Savage, Maine GOP executive director .Its is not clear at this time if the secretary of state’s office will appeal. If so, it will be the third time in four years that Mainers will be voting on ranked choice voting.
