State releases checklists for Maine businesses allowed to reopen in July

OUTDOOR AMUSEMENT SUCH AS OVERNIGHT CHARTER BOAT EXCURSIONS OVERNIGHT SUMMER CAMPS. INDOOR AMUSEMENT MOVIE THEATERS AND PERFORMING ARTS VENUES WITH THIS THE MAJORITY OF MAINE’S ECONOMY HAS REOPENED UNDER GOVERNOR MILLS RESTARTING MEANS ECONOMY PLAN WITH THE INITIATION OF STAGE 3, THAT WILL ONLY CONTINUE TO GROW. The Mills administration on Wednesday released checklists for businesses allowed to reopen July 1 as part of Stage 3 of the plan to restart the economy.Checklists were posted for spas and skincare establishments, outdoor amusements, including amusement and water parks, indoor amusements, including bowling alleys, movie theaters and performing arts venues.Gov. Janet Mills said Maine remains on par or ahead of other northeastern states in terms of its reopening.“These reopenings represent a positive step forward for Maine and our economy, but Maine people and businesses must remain vigilant,” Mills said.Guidance for Maine’s casinos to reopen is pending, according to the state.Earlier this week Mills delayed the reopening of bars for indoor service. They were scheduled to reopen on July 1.
