Thanks for watching a meteorologist, Jacqueline Thomas. Hope you had a wonderful weekend. We certainly had a gorgeous stretch over these past couple of days. Sunday, a little bit cooler than what we saw on Saturday with warmth does stick around these next few days. Heading into early Monday, those low temperatures will be in the low to mid forties and some thirties as you head towards the foot hills and the mountains. And Monday itself is gonna end up being another beautiful day with plenty of sunshine as we head through the afternoon. Some warm temperatures again. But we are going to start with a bit of fog in spots, especially along the coastal plane or a couple of low clouds. So if you wake up first thing and it’s kind of foggy or cloudy out, don’t worry. That will all burn off, and we we will get into the sunshine and high temperatures will be warmer than Sunday back into the mid and upper sixties across most of the area, even some low seventies possible again from Kittery through Sanford back towards Freiburg, where we’ve seen seventies pretty much these past few days. Over these next few days, as we head through the early part of this week, we’re still looking at a dry stretch until about late Wednesday. So here’s the storm tracker. Any morning fog burns off Monday, we get that sunshine through the afternoon. Tuesday ends up being a bright, dry, sunny and warm day. Our next best chance at hitting 70 degrees in the Portland area Tuesday and then look at Wednesday. Initially, it looks like Wednesday would be the wetter day this week. But the timing of these showers has slowed down a little bit. So I think Wednesday morning actually stays dry across the area. Could see some breaks of sun before the clouds takeover, and then the showers start to move in and you’ll notice rain. Chances now actually increase into Thursday, where we could see some damp conditions through the first part of the day. So here’s what we’ve got our by our Wednesday. The showers move in late in the afternoon through Wednesday evening, and it’s pretty scattered shower activity. So not a big, widespread uniformed rainfall. Not everybody sees the rain all at the same time. You’ll see a shower here or there, and then as we head into Thursday, you’ll notice the rain hugging the coast a little bit, so certainly a damp day there. And as we head into Thursday night, we do dry out with a drier stretch at the end of the week, but also a cooler stretch to you’ll notice the eight day forecast, the warmth through the middle of the week. But then those showers arrive. That front pushes through, and we see our temperatures drop back to more seasonable conditions, with highs closer to 50 degrees and lose back in the thirties.
