Most areas will climb into the lower eighties. Partly sunny skies expected clouds and win out. Keep an eye to the sky this afternoon. Could be some showers or thunderstorms developing, and they will have the potential to be strong to severe, although I think we have a greater likelihood tomorrow during the afternoon. Warm and muggy. That’s a story from the Great Lakes. Right into New England is cold front comes through on Tuesday, and with that, we’ll see a less humid air mass. A drop in the humidity. Dew points would turn the sixties for the next couple of days. Making its sticky out there will fall back into the forties, making it far more pleasant and comfortable Afternoon high temperatures today. Here you can see from the mountains to the coast, upper seventies and lower eighties, the eight day forecast because of the possibility of those strong to severe storms on Tuesday. That’s a total weather alert. Wednesday Thursday look good and then maybe some remnant tropical moisture from those hurricanes in the Gulf. If that’s going to affect us, it would just bring rain here on Saturday. Let’s hope that changes need the rain, but really don’t want it on the weekend.
